recently my entries hv been totally title-less. juz freaking lazy to think of any.
hv been hving phone conversations with my gal (marilyn). we were talking abt hw "futurized" our furture might be. marilyn blissfully married, hving twins, living in a comfortable 4-room HDB flat, hv a really loving husband and holding to a $2000 job.
me? ha. according to her, i'll probably still be happily swinging single, flirting ard with guys everytime i club, living on my own in a one-room loft, probably living off take-away meals coz too lazy to cook (added my me.), holding to a mayb $6-7k job (if nt in design).
i really duno. hwever i m quite certain tat marilyn dear will be blissfully married n living with the company if her dear in a very sweet n loving life.
i might be really ambitious to say tat i wanna go to sweden to get my degree den masters there. i guess its the upbringing? my mom often says tat as girls we shld learn to be independent n nt to live off men?
haha. sometimes i wonder if i m juz too picky or men in singapore really suck? haha. mayb i really m too picky. i guess i want the best for myself. ha. the only thing i can conclude is tat my future is really unknown.

happy mother's day!
happy mother's day to my mom, freda lim siew tin. hehe.
actually wanted to wake up early bt i 赖床. haha. so woke up like 10. saw tat my mom had cooked a whole wok of bee hoon! gt a bit disappointed coz last night me n brenda had made the pancake batter for the next day.
however mom was very sporting. she said, "my tummy still has some more space for food." haha. i gt happier. coz yesterday aft my tution, i had the idea of making breakfast for my mom. n i gt very excited. so i told brenda yesterday to help make the batter. coz s i knw, any pastry making, if the batter/dough were to be store in the fridge overnight, the pastry would taste better. reason? so tat the batter/dough can "rest" or expand. hehe.
so amanda n i made the pancakes. amanda doesnt hv alot of experience in cooking, so i was rather afraid of her. therefore in the end i made most of them (ate most of them). mom said tat i tasted great! she asked if i added any eggs or milk? i said its juz water n the pancake mix. haha. i nt tat 勤劳 to do everything frm scratch. haha. nvm.
ltr in the afternoon, amanda suggested if we wanna go out for dinner at cafe plaza (renamed to Plaza Brasserie). we usually go there for family events. nice place for food n the amience. the promotion for mother's day was a photoshot by some makeover company. (cant rem the name. hehe)
mom was worried for my cough. bt s usual i m so stubborn, i still ate the fried n the spicy. hehe. tot can 以毒攻毒. bt in the end i m still coughing. haiz. haha. too bad loh. hehe.
mom like the present i choose. hehe. she's still wearing them. ^^. i m soo happy!!

fun day!!
SUPER LONG POST
went out with my galfrens today!! (zulia, elaine, marilyn) haha. finally aft sooooo many years. actually we like didnt really go out together s 4 b4. haha. think at most was in sec sch hving recess together haha. finally gt it done. yea!! ok i m now going to start the story of the entire day out!!
we were all late for the appointment! we were supposed to meet at orchard mrt at 1pm. haha. marilyn smsed me at 1215+ saying tat she juz woke up n will b late haha. at tat time i was at home doing my make-up (hiao lah). den elaine oso smsed me tat she'll b late too. zulia called me to check if i would b early n acc elaine if she's there. in the end zulia was there first. haha. den i came 2nd. met her at og. she was with her family buying linguire(hmmm). zulia bought triumph. i actuall wanted to buy. but felt tat it wasnt the time to buy yet cos my 2nd pay is not here yet. well i did try n found out tat i hv upgraded liao. haha. happy loh. den elaine came. at tat time we were (or rather zulia) to pay for the stuffs. so her family left. zulia heard frm her sis tat og sold bags n wallets so we went down to check out (we were shopping for mother's day pressies). i was being vain so earlier on i told zulia to bring a pair of contacts for me. haha.
ltr marilyn called me. heng we hvnt leave og if nt she'll kill me. haha. so in the end we four left og together. they commented tat with my frindge longer nw, i look much younger. haha. they also realised that i had small eyes. haha. i do, k? when i was young ppl mistook me for a jap. haha.
realising tat we were hungry, we headed to the foodcourt nearby. i n marilyn ordered fish porridge (the teochew type) den elaine ordered ban mian. as for zulia, she said tat she wasn't very hungry so she ate tao suan. haha. we all agreed tat we shld take this opportunity to get neoprints. haha. zulia told us tat rui fang would b meeting us too. so we left the makan area n head up towards orchard area(somerset is at the down hill)
on the way, we went into taka jewellery. (the same place where my sis n i gt my mom her first diamond frm us ^^) zulia was mentioning tat her mom needs a necklace. so we looked ard. a promoter recommended a pendant. it was a heart-shaped. n it could b worn in 7/8 ways. really neat! however didnt come with the chain. it cost $79. reasonable. i told zulia tat we could go perlini or somewhere else to get the chain s it was kinda steep. ($49) she agreed too. so we juz bought the pendant. at tat time rui fang came. haha.
i guess i understood zulia's emotions at tat time. for me it felt like tat i had grown up liao n i could spend money to pamper my mom. i was proud of myself at tat time. haha.
it was drizzling. so we kinda took shelter at heeren n at the same time we took our neoprints. aft taking the neoprints, elaine said tat she had to leave (she had salsa dance). so i kept hers as i would b meeting her aft tat.
zulia was going for a movie (MI3) with her primers frens(including rui fang). marilyn was going to work at 5.
aft heeren we went to takashimaya. i had a $20 taka voucher mah. so we went to moshi moshi at taka. zulia gt her chain. i gt earrings for my mom. i think its more pratical s she always wears them.

ltr i went to the cosmetics area. was thinking of getting mascara. den.... zulia called me frm behind!! haha. she said they were watching the 7.10 show. so had some time. she was looking for the toliet haha. tat girl is a 水桶. haha. i tot since i need dinner n they were going for dinner, y nt join? zulia tot too. haha.
we booked tables. waited for guo wei n the other primers to arrive. haha. gt to knw this girl frm primers. she's called ming zhen. she's really frendly. didnt really talk the rest s i was sitting at a different table. haha.
being sick, there wasnt much to eat. had pasta. zulia n rui fang had kfc. ming zhen didnt want to eat s she had a late lunch. tat zulia ar, complained tat pastamania was too x so ate kfc. in the end still had a 2nd helping of pasta. haha. funny loh.
aft food realised tat elaine had like almost finished her class. so msg her to meet me at lido. when she arrived, the rest were abt to leave s they wanted to go the G2000 sale downstairs. (me n elaine had agreed to help out at some seminar as an usher n receptionist repectively. we need to wear formal for that day though.) they wanted to check out the formal wear. so zulia n the rest went down to meet them. left me n elaine.
elaine had the urge to eat ice-cream. haha. so we had a 50¢ mac ice-cream. haha. felt like a 5 yr-old girl for the moment. haha. we walked to far east to shop a bit more. haha. 女人吗. haha.
elaine wasnt sure if her mom had a dark-coloured long sleeve top, plus zulia also need one. so me n elaine investigate the prices. haha. like detectives. haha.
s elaine hadnt had dinner, we went to hans. i acc her loh. we talked abt alot of things. haha. we really had a heart to heart talk. really nice. ^^.
we went to this fashion s the stuff there are kinda cheap. realised tat the far east branch didnt hv s much long sleeve shirts. wanted to go to the dhoby ghaut branch. elaine received a call frm her mom tat she was hungry. so had to leave.
we decided to take a bus down. hwever the bus didnt arrive. we walked down loh. we passed by the old og. went in. realised tat the stuff there is really much cheaper. haha.
elaine started to get worried abt her mom. (so sweet) so she had to leave. n i carried on shopping alone. (hey i m independent k?) went to this shop call the factory outlet store. i think they sell direct frm the factory. really cheap too. i bought this really comfy slacks at $19.90. its the type tat i hv been hunting. the hip-flare style. i think i wear them to the seminar. haha. den i went home loh. tats abt it. haha.
