I can't sleep!

Well, I'm supposed to be up by 8 and head to yet another work morning. But because of the enormous bliss I'm feeling now, I'm insomniac. Darling, I'm not complaining. Just merely saying so. :)

Well, I've just read Holly Jean's post on to who should pay the bill. It got me thinking. Ray and I aren't exactly employed and earning. So I guess we take turns? Although it seems to me that he's paying most of the time. I guess it's probably me whining a little too much about being broke all the time. Haha. Opps.

In the beginning, he paid. In fact I actually hassled him for a book on our very first date! Hahaha. My bad. He continued to pay for drinks at Timbre. I suppose it's just a social norm that we have all been accustomed to. When the waiting staff brings the bill, it's always or more often directed to the guy. Seems interestingly so. Again brings up the question on who to pay.

I know Marilyn and TJ splits the bill if they can. Or rather, his money is hers but I'm not exactly sure if hers is his. Hahaha. I do remember paying the bill on some dates with Ray. And actually to me, I think it's no big deal. Ok. That was when I was still interning at Frost & Sullivan. These days, I guess I try to chip in whenever I can. :S Darling, I'm sorry. Should have treated dinner. Hehehe.

Hmmm... Perhaps it's just me. Actually I think that splitting the bill on the first date seems to me that I'm being respected to be on par with my date. After all, it is the first date. And how much have you got to know this person. To me, it would be more polite if the date went dutch with me.

But now, having Ray in my life, to me, whoever pays doesn't matter. But Darling, not all the time I can pay hor. I'm as broke as you are! Hehehe.

Just before I leave for work.

Yes another annoying shit day at work. Oh well. Here's a lovey-dovey picture that has been overly photoshopped.

Imperfect 10.

Today, despite everything, I still felt that familiar yet thrilling feeling that I had 10 months ago.

Happy 10 months, darling.

I love you.

Formspring.

Something new. I removed my tagboard due to silly people flaming me. So here's formspring. It's on the left side of the blog just about the twitter updates. So, ask away!

You could asked about my sexuality or virginity issues. Whatever rocks your boat. I'm not gonna get angry. Prolly just amused?

Just the recent Thursday, Marilyn and I hanged. Well, we were at the Dhoby Ghaut area hanging, waiting for her books to be pirated. And so we had our dinner feast at the Waterloo Market. (I'm not sure if that's the right name.) Pictures!

Post 1001.

Yes. I have hit the 1001th post. So to celebrate the idea of blogging that much, I have decided to share with the blogosphere my very first cheque from Nuffnangs! :D

:D:D:D:D:D:D!!

Grrrr..

Before I start blogging of happy stuff, I want to whine and bitch for a while. Partly because I like to experience the bitter news before savoring something sweet and pleasant. So here the shit goes.

As of 3 July 2010, there has been a new travelling system implemented here in Singapore - a pay per distance payment scheme. Well, maybe it does seem a little decent and perhaps reasonable, however here's the catch - what ever happened to the original basic fee of 69₵. Now the basic current fees for any bus service stands at 71₵!!!! So even if you were to be lazy and decide to take a bus from Far East Plaza to say Tangs, would seriously cost you 71₵! That's like only a stop away!!!! Seriously an increment of 2₵!! Ok. FOL (fuck our life) this time. Apparently the Singapore government thinks they are robbing enough money from the citizens, so they have decided to rob us of 2₵ more. Well, you may argue that 2₵ isn't much. Well, let me break it down for you. 2₵ is an increased of 2.8% of the original fee. Ok still not enough to convince you? Imagine this. 50 of such 2₵ would give you a dollar! An eff-ing dollar! Perhaps I'm exaggerating, but still it's money. After all we're all brought up in a world that embraces the passion of capitalism. So why not annoy the government and get back our 2₵!!

Marilyn's here. So I'll stop for now.

Letting it out.

Today, I painted my nails in a really down to earth color. Literally. Pretty? It's OPI's Barefoot in Barcelona. The only problem with this shade is it having to look fake if its not close to the cuticle. Today I managed to accomplished that. But no pictures from me just yet. The camera died, or rather no batteries. Plus I want to blog about my Nuffnang cheque! I'm psych-ed! So good night for now.
