Bad Week

It has been a really bad week. Jolyn will agree to that.

I got sick
Made people angry.
Made myself miserable.

Yes. I'm going into hiding for my Saturday.
I'm safe and all.
Just want to be left alone.

Sigh.

I flared. And most people who know me, will get scared when I do so. It's ugly. Very ugly.
I got tired. Very tired. I love Zulia alot. We knew each other since 2000. It has 8 years. 8 years. I'm even much closer to friends that I have known for just 5 months? Why have we distant? It hurts alot when I spilled the truth. I guess because of the time and memories we have together. I always tell my friends, I'm independent enough to do things myself. But why do I still keep clinging on to this near broken friendship? I believe in sincerity when it comes to friendships. I give my 110% if not 100% in every friend I make. Yes, I do know when to retract and when to give. But its different case for Zulia altogether. I can't just let go so easily with her. I told her, "I don't even put so much with the guys I like." It is a very true statement. Its always my friends first, then me, then my family. Surprisingly, they are even placed before me. Sigh.
Talking to Yu Heng did help in some way. I'm glad he lent me his ear. Marilyn's just as tired with Zulia. I know I'm not supposed to let some people read this. But I seriously need an avenue to vent my emotions out. Don't ask me. Please don't ask me, "What's going on?" or "What's the matter?" I let it all out and it feels good now. At least for now. I love my friends. But do they love me as much? Sigh.

Pictures.

Sorry for being wordy over these few days. Just that I have been rather busy and didn't really have the time to downsize the image for faster viewing.
First up, the recent clubbing at Butter Factory and O bar. Most of the pictures are from Jolyn's camera.
Me and the lovely Jo.
Me looking strangely pissed.
Mel and Ari using the jersey drink coasters as fans.
A picture that I think I look weird in but everyone else seems to think its ok.
Ari's beau, Eddie.
The lovely 4 girls from the gang. :D Well that ends the pictures from O bar from Jo's camera.
Now, for my mere pictures at Butter Factory and O bar.

That kinda rounds up the night. It's been a while since I danced like that. Well. Like Ari had mentioned on her blog. The music at Butter was a letdown. Mambo. God. ~Somebody save me~ That's why the change of location to O bar. I personally never was a fan of Butter Factory. O Bar on the other hand seems rather decent. Music's safe, cheap drinks. Only flaw: it's a club most "muds" go to. Well. At least we were in a big group that day.

The week before I headed down to Zouk with Jo. And yes. I got drunk. No fancy adjectives to go along with it. Drunk.

Yes. Wilson was there. So bloody embarrassing. Nevermind.

Enough of the clubbing and in with my girlfriend's 21st. Zulia Choo turned 21 a day ago. Here's some shots.
Happy 21st darling.
In bed with Yu Heng, Jason, Pui Pui, Jie Mei, Marilyn. (That's Tang Jie at the back of the camera.)

Well, I guess that was 2 weeks well spent. Now it's time to get my ass to bed and head to school in the morning.

Post note: The guys did come for O bar and Butter Factory.

And yes. That's a rather red looking Uncle Tan with Uncle Soo.

Happyness amist all the negativity.

Just got back from Zulia's party. Ok. I'm not very pleased with some stuff but I can live with it.

Met up with Yu Heng!

Well, I guess the last time we talked was in poly? That was donkey years ago. At least we reconnected. God, I do miss my friends. Real friends. I seriously need to start hanging out more with Jie Mei. So miss her too.

On a happyer note, Elaine's coming back for the week on Monday! :D. I seriously excited. My Indonesian Swiss cheese is coming back! We do have a little surprise for her too. Shhhhh.

A thin fine line.

I'm not trying to be a mean person. Guess the time when Alvin told me to stop being naive, did wake me up. I woke up. Surprisingly, I'm thankful.

I'm kinda tired of many things. Well, my family, my friends and my life. Ok. I ain't depress or anything like that. I'm just undergoing this transitional reflection stage of my life.

My family. Dysfunctional for sure. I love my family. Tired of my mom nagging and bitching 24/7. I wonder if she does have a mental condition? After all my grandmother did become senile. Well, there always that black sheep. Rather we can never be that white/pure in life. There's still always some soot on us when the day ends.

My friends. God. I really don't know where to begin. Seriously I have to admit finding who's true and real to you is the hardest. I don't deny that my current friends now are at most 80% real to me. Is Zelda being a bitch by writing this? Hell no! I realized that no matter how my friends turn out to be, I do give my 100%. Not that I'm bragging. I'm a person who has always believed in karma and that life is a cycle. What goes around, comes around. It's fucking depressing to know that when you give your all and people just fall short for you. My dad always tells me the "give and take" ideology. Everytime I get pissed about the "friends" department, I shrug. Yup. Am seriously down right tired in this department for sure. Zulia's birthday party is this Saturday. I'm fucking sure she'll take things for granted. Stuff that I do, i.e. shoes, scroll. As if those stuff are easy to do. Thank god she has dealt with an entire firm of designers. Good luck to her with that.

My life. School, career, diet, sleep, music, fashion. I hate myself for the incapability to perform/excel. It's my last chance at school and I screw it up. Sigh. Career wasn't very much planned well. I got this whole load of goals/ambitions, but none of which I have ever completed. I have this super screwed up diet too. I just so pissed with alot of things at the moment. Whatever.

Olympics part 2.

Ok. Singapore got the medal. Ok. After 48 years.

But here's my question. So what?
Well the devil inside me just got thinking what's up with the overly emphasized situation. Zel has never been a big fan of Singapore athletes. Or the fact that government buys talent over. Well, either way it disgusts me. I'm sorry if I have offended you (government/patriots) in anyway. No. I'm not suffering from a rebellious phase of my life. I have always resented the place I'm born into. I guess that even so one day, the government might even have a say in where you get buried or how you die. Fuck. It is slowly taking place. Now I really understand why Katie Holmes wants out from Tom Cruise and Scientology. To put it metaphorically, living here in Singapore feels like I have a severe case of Claustrophobia and I'm trapped in a really really really small room with only one window.

Back to the Olympics thing. Where did the government find S$500k to pay those bought in athletes? Taxpayers' money! Plus, I seriously think that talent needs to be nurtured and bought or bribed over. I don't know. Everyone seems that the silver medal is just and being so proud of it. Disgusting! I know that my grandfather's from China too and that we are somehow linked by migration and that we don't really have a proper heritage. But whatever. My point is ok we got the medal. Can everyone else just move on with their lives? It's fucking irritatingly disgusting to go on and on about the stupid medal!

Disappointed.

Got my results for the first sem. Sigh. Fuck. Damn. Whatever. I'm seriously disappointed. Should I retake my Comms 101 module? Well, I did screw up the exam. Sigh. After all the hard work I put into it. :( I'm super depressed/sad/pissed(all the fucked up negativity within me).

FRENCH.

Had a movie marathon at Alson's place with Jolyn. Watched French movies! :D Le Papillon and Les Choristes. I love the butterfly movie. The girl is so cute!
The choir boys were good too.
God. My friends are influencing me to like foreign films! Ok. My all time favourite is still the Children of Heaven.
I'm going to watch A Very Long Engagement now. I might even want to download Amélie. Wait. I still have the Thai version of My Girl(Fan Chan). Hohoho. Ok. Got to stop before I'll never get started on A Very Long Engagement.

:D

Its been a while since I went drinking. :D Ok. Not like the other time with Jackson and Sab and Tingz. Or like the other time with Freddie and Elaine and Jason and Zulia. Tonight was only the tip of an iceberg. Zel could still down one jug of CONCENTRATED housepour and want more. OK. Got to stop the bragging. If only I had cash and there was Flaming Lambo on the menu. Hohohoho!

So who did I hang out with tonight? Its a secret. I'm not telling. But someone became crab-cooked red after drinking alcohol. Hahahaha. Funny! Oh well. I can't put up the pics proper without mosaic-ing the faces. So I guess I wont put it up at all. Hehe. Got to go now. Cheerios!

NOT ENOUGH!!!!!

Yes, Singfest was a blast. Took a huge truckload of photos. And I didn't have enough! :( Ok. I'm just being greedy. But damn. It was damn fucking good. Here's a video of Jamie Scott and the Town.
:D Well, Jamie's cute! :D

:D
God. Jason Mraz is totally cool!
I think I went on this Jason-Mraz-photo-taking frenzy. When I showed my dad the pictures I took, he remarked is Jason the only performer for the day. LOL.

I know. But its that good. Man, if only you were there. I had known Jason is capable of great live performances, but it was more than great. :D You will know what I mean after watching the video. :D
Oh ya. I was that close to the stage. So the pictures turned out nice! :D I;m just too happy for now. :D
