It’s not easy.

Finally a song about the pains and struggles of being a woman. Wait. Dave Matthews Band didn’t exactly write that for us. They wrote it for that idiotic Superman with that super unsexy red spandex. Ewww.

I am now on the bus of 72. A bus service I once commute on 2 years ago. Met with my polytechnic lecturer and had a 2 hour chat. I suppose it does help clear the head once a while, talking to Garry. After all, my transitional phase was during the pursuit of my diploma. Yes I have grown over the years since the day I was 17 and first stepped into the design classroom.

We spoke about issues pertaining feminism – a topic that I could never get enough of, societal issues, perhaps disappointing ID successors and of course the updates of my life. Haters listen up. I am not closing the blog. I take it back. Seriously, I suppose you just can’t get enough of me hence the constant thought to hate me on your toes. Yesterday I might be writing issues that have a direct influence from you, today I’m writing ideas and problems I think and I see happening every day. No point judging me when you can’t handle yourself. Period. Don’t start an argument about your great capability about your perfect etiquette and upbringing. I don’t need to hear that.

Feminism. Remember my lovely topic on how much the porn industry never fails to wither? Yes. Apparently I get that green light from my mentor. To think a 50-odd-year-old dude would agree to such issues. Point is we do live in a chauvinistic world, why bother fighting over nitty gritty issues that we women can’t agree upon? Aren’t men a much bigger headache than what we can handle? No wonder we women are deemed as silly. Take it or leave it.

Societal. Next year is voting year. You can bet that I will be casting a serious vote. I think all these voting is nonsense and a total waste of time. Why spend so much money each campaign, when end of the day, we all know who’s gonna make up the government! And I bet you, 10 years down the road the end result will still be the same. But the only difference is by then; I will have fulfilled my self-fulfilling prophecy of marrying a Caucasian and probably be living in Paris, Milan or Frankfurt, maybe even the States. My point: Politics in Singapore just bore me to tears. Even the constant power struggle in the Philippines is way more interesting to read about. My bad for the love of conflict, but then again aren’t we all suckers for that?

WELL, the kids doing industrial design are an utter disappointment. Just by taking a glance at their work………… I’m shaking my head as I type this. And I think I wouldn’t want to write any more about them. It’s either do or die people. And I bet, you’ll die with what you have now.

Well, that’s all for now.
